Jackson Corners Neighborhood Association is open to all residents living in the area bordered by Knoxville, Wisconsin, Forrest Hill and McClure (map). Meetings Meetings are held bi-monthly at the Gift Avenue Advocacy Center (501 E. Gift). Meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday of February, April, June, August, October and December.
Speakers are invited to each bi-monthly meeting. Past speakers have included city councilmen, candidates for city council and state representative, and representatives from police department, fire department, animal control, and code enforcement. August speakers: Peoria Police Department

Jackson Corners Neighborhood Association is represented at the Neighborhood Alliance by Mary Genzel
The neighborhood is represented at the Peoria City Council (District 3) by Tim Riggenbach. City Council meets are City Hall twice a month on Tuesday evenings at 6:15PM. Meetings are broadcast on Cable channel 22 and on WCBU radio (89.9 FM).
Most of Jackson Corners Neighborhood is represented on the Peoria District 150 School Board by Rev. Linda Butler, Lynne Costic, and Debbie Wolfmeyer (2nd district). Residents living near Forrest Hill may be in the 3rd School Board District (currently represented by Laura Petelle, Chris Crawford and Rick Cloyd). School Board Meeting Schedule
What's in a Name?
Jackson's Corners was the early name for the settlement at Knoxville and McClure
Aves. It was named for the blacksmith shop and general store operated by a Mr.
Jackson.
